The Philpotts caused the deaths of 6 of their children. It was held that they didn't intend to kill them, although they were instrumental in the fire being started deliberately. So they were found guilty of manslaughter and not murder. Yet Stevie Nolan was found guilty of murder and not manslaughter. He was followed to the park by a willing adversary, there is no tangible evidence that murder was his intent. Given that his adversary was so far from his vehicle, and he also had a history of previous rage, suggesting aggression, wasn't it almost a matter of chance that Nolan himself wasn't the victim? I just don't get it. Murder requires intent. If it was held that Nolan intended to take the life of Nekoo, or at least he should have understood that his actions could have led to the severe injury or death of Nekoo, and he committed murder, how are the Philpotts, who should also have been aware that their actions could cause serious harm or death, only guilty of manslaughter? I already smell a miscarriage of Justice. |

hssc wrote: when will people on here deal with TAXI issues and leave other issues for other forums. As above the lack of respect by some on here is unbelievable As the convicted man was a TAXI driver, found guilty of using his TAXI to murder a PH driver, I'd call it a TAXI issue. |

Jasbar you are a complete idiot! To even use the Stevie Nolan case in the same context is a f'n disgrace. You show total contempt for 6 innocent children that have lost their lives. What a complete t!t. I believe in karma. I wonder if you'll have a drive next week? Hold on, 1/11on you won't. I'm having £111,000 on that, easy money? C'mon lads, Ray says "have a bang on that" I already smell a miscarriage of Justice. |

You guys just don't get me, do you? I don't do injustice. And Nolan is languishing in injustice. What disappoints me are the cretins who say "Just give it up". That's why we live in a society that is shafting us. Now get this. I don't accept being shafted. I fight. Because I am right. If your son, father, next door cabby was in Nolan's shoes, so would you. You would, wouldn't you?

C'mon lads, Ray says "have a bang on that" I already smell a miscarriage of Justice. You can't even reply outwith your quote. What a Richard Tete. Nolan could be YOU dimwit. Or me. There but for the grace of God. If I don't have a drive next week, do you think I care? because unlike you, I have the wit to survive. But you need privilege, a council's helping hand. You couldn't surviver in a commercial jungle on your best day. You are truly a scumbag. And should be put down. Shecht on a decent man's shoes. The Philpotts murdered and got manslaughter. Nolan didn't murder and has been convicted of it. That's a miscarriage. And, if you had any sense of decency you would at least be asking questions. But you won't. Unless the next time it's you feckwit that you are.

To live in a society where a man can be victimised for expressing his political opinion. A plague on your house. Who wants to share the same air with such a poor individual as you? The older I get, the more I realise why socialism was unattainable. Because the world is full of scum like you. You don't deserve to be equal. Ahhh! I hear the groan of your stone lifting. Get ye back under it.

I wouldn't get stuck into the strawberries and cream just yet Jazzy b. Just what is it you think you're right on?? Your post is embarrassing and shows the type of person you are. How you can link six children dying in a fire to a murder case in Edinburgh is appalling. |
