Well my little rat as usual you and the propaganda machine have got it all wrong again! A stunning letter that no action was taken against they say, well that's what Tony (I deny i'm in denial) Kenmuir would have you all believe. And no wonder you all believe this because Tony puts it on the Central members forum and tells you. Here@s what he said earlier this week. A General News news item has been posted at Central Taxis https://www.mycentraltaxis.co.uk LEGAL ISSUE RESOLVED Fellow Members, Further to the recent tender process at Edinburgh Airport there has been some debate as everyone is well aware. We had concerns regarding the outcome which we expressed in legal terms to the management of the Airport. The Committee is charged with protecting and furthering the interests of the membership wherever possible and we felt strongly that the solution had wider implications for the Taxi trade as a whole, which we have a further level of obligation to defend. We have made strenuous efforts to draw the issues to the attention of interested parties and objected to the booking office license applications at a Council and Government level. Having raised objections with the interests of our members and our trade foremost in our minds, there was a response from other parties involved in this high profile contract, having their own business interests to serve. This took the form of a legal challenge being delivered to us in turn, as we advised members at the AGM. The implications of this have been publicised and exaggerated on internet forums as we’ve come to expect. Some anonymous parties, whether connected directly with the companies involved or not; seek any opportunity to spread innuendo, undermine the confidence of members and distract the company from getting on with business. We were advised recently by a former committee member that points of principal and personal pride led to spending tens of thousands of pounds of the members’ money on legal debates in the past; which ultimately achieved nothing to the members benefit. We have chosen to withdraw some comments made in the course of correspondence and settle on a tenth of what was requested to close the matter. Our involvement has been limited to taking initial advice and the subsequent exchange of a few emails between solicitors. We have now fully and finally resolved the matter with the minimum distraction and the minimum impact on our resources which, no matter what the outcome; further legal correspondence or court proceedings may have involved. If anyone has further questions please contact us, Regards Tony on behalf of the committee. This must be true, Tony says so. It's all just been a mix up with the airport tender and we the mighty Central, Knights of 'the trade' in trying to save face got into a legal spat over the tender and needed our lawyers to smooth out our position, or so Tony will tell you. He even says this little tender blip was mentioned by him and Co at the AGM. Tony states here that ''This took the form of a legal challenge being delivered to us in turn, as we advised members at the AGM. The implications of this have been publicised and exaggerated on internet forums as we’ve come to expect.'' Two things here that once again don't ring true Tony my boy. Firstly you denied at the AGM that any legal challenge had been received and nothing has been exaggerated on any forum. As I say if Tony says so, it must be true. This is what he and the committee feed to the members and there are a few who are to ready to believe. John the rat for example he honestly believes his decrement card will be needed again soon, the airport needs Central, aye like a hole in the head. Maybe John the rat got this information the other evening when Tony was addressing his fellow table guests at a function at the local rugby club. At this fine affair Tony took it upon himself to stand up and inform all who were seated nearby, Central members with their wifes and family friends, and proceeds to say that Central will be back soon as the airport needs them. He went on to say''the airport are never off the phone with their concerns about the long waits for passengers.'' Must be true because Tony says so. Well what if I tell you otherwise and you can be the judge. Tony and Co puts out the spin for the members on their secret forum but unfortunately for them they have also had to put out an official apology to Edinburgh City Private Hire and the wider Edinburgh business community also, and here it is. The following is what Tony sent to the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Transport Group earlier this week, just a day after posting the propoganda on the members forum. This is the same group that Tony thought it was okay to try and drum up some support in his quest to save his airport tender. The same group he wrote to and defamed ECPH as his public apology states. There has been some furore around this in our trade and contained in correspondence with this group, some remarks made by myself which on advice I subsequently chose to withdraw. I apologise for the further intrusion but that dispute has just been resolved on the contingency that I publish some further remarks as follow: “We refer to the email sent by Mr Kenmuir on 21 February 2013 regarding Edinburgh City Private Hire Limited. As you know, both Mr Kenmuir and Central Radio Taxis have already withdrawn the allegations made in that email. We write to advise that Mr Kenmuir and Central Radio Taxis have now offered amends to Edinburgh City Private Hire Limited in terms of the Defamation Act 1996. Edinburgh City Private Hire Limited have accepted that offer. Mr Kenmuir and Central Radio Taxis apologise for the making of the allegations, and express regret that they were made. They have agreed to pay such damages and expenses as may be agreed between the parties, or assessed as payable by the Court.” I shouldn’t have to trouble you further on the matter which has now reached a conclusion. Coolky, you truly are a t*t. Where you go wrong is thinking that anyone cares. Nothing in this pash hasn't been said before. CRT got it wrong, we knew this. They've gifted the Glasgow boys a degree of credibility they could never have got on their own. And you're just a bumboy t*t playing with big boys and relishing your ego being massaged.
