JAIL FOR BLACKMAILER WHO TARGETED BOSSES AT CELEBRITY LIMOUSINE FIRM

BELGRAVIA, CENTRAL LONDON; CHINGFORD, EAST LONDON

Bosses at a limousine hire firm used by stars including Beyonce and Kanye West were blackmailed for £10,000 by an employee after he was caught claiming bogus expenses.

William Burke, 47, threatened to cause Lawrence Glannon and Giovanni D'Amico 'serious problems' and make their lives 'very difficult.'

His employers at Belgravia Live Limited agreed to pay £1,000, but Burke then demanded £10,000 in a month-long campaign of email and text demands.

Burke threatened to expose the Westminster-based firm for allegedly operating without a proper licence, Southwark Crown Court heard.
