Post subject:  Some good news for all of Newcastle's cabby's

The front of Newcastle station is to be pedestrianised and a rank placed on the main road outside, taxi owners will no longer have to pay to rank there.

If true then that's good news for the trade without permits and pony news for those with permits.

Didn't Network rail feck up Edinburgh waverly station and it's parking, why should you expect anything less than another feck up for Newcastle central.

Just where Is Joe Public going Pick Up or Drop off or park at At Central station?

You drop off at the front of the rank outside the arch and you get punters that want a pick up to stand across the road.
The problem with NCS is they have changed the rout into and away from it, but have not synced the traffic lights so things keep moving

And if you want to Meet and Greet them off a train where do you go to park...
