Taxi driver accused of raping passenger walks free

A TAXI driver charged with raping a young man in an Aberdeen park has walked free from court.
John Jones, 75, was accused of abducting his passenger in February last year before driving him to Stewart Park and raping him over the bonnet of his car.
Yesterday, however, a jury of eight men and seven woman took just over an hour to find the charge not proven at the High Court in Aberdeen.
