Got an email from a potential passenger, 20 years around the taxi trade never come across this. Good Afternoon, I am writing to thank the leaflet distributor who was delivering leaflets for your company in the Rushall area today at around 2 o clock. On delivering the leaflet to my front door he noticed that it was ajar, and informed the police. The police knocked on my door to check that I was ok. I explained that it was my error and I had left my door ajar by mistake. However I am grateful that the distributor was concerned for the security of my property and my safety and decided to inform the police. (as it could have been an elderly person who may have needed help he was not to know). Please can you pass on my sincere thanks to the distributor for being kind enough to be concerned as I could not see who it was when I looked in the street. I will be making sure that I will be using your taxi service in future and will recommend to contacts, as I am sure that the service will be as good as the person you employed to deliver the leaflet. Best Regards (blanked out by me) |
