I don't know whether it was a Taxi or PH but I am going to ask around.
Biker arrested after crashing through Plymouth fire stationMonday, May 27, 2013
A MOTORCYCLIST was arrested last night on suspicion of drink driving after crashing his bike through the door of Greenbank fire station.
The biker, in his mid-20s, was knocked off his bike at 9.21pm in a collision with a taxi on Greenbank Road. He was left in the road while his vehicle went careering through the door of the station.
Firefighters attended and gave him first aid before ambulance and police turned up.
The motorcyclist was breathalysed in the ambulance and was arrested for being over the legal alcohol limit.
Crew manager Tim Reed said the station will require a new door to be fitted.
He said: "We heard a big bang and looked out to see the motorcyclist lying on the road and the bike in the front of the station.
"We would like to remind people, especially with the nice weather coming, not to drink and drive. If you have had a drink then get a lift home or order a taxi.
"This motorcyclist was lucky not to have been seriously injured. His bike was written off and there is extensive damage to the station door which is not going to be cheap to fix."
Police took a statement from the taxi driver but took no further action.
