Aberdeen man attacked taxi driver and smashed windscreen in row over £1
A FORMER cabbie assaulted a taxi driver in Aberdeen and smashed a vehicle’s windscreen – over just £1.
Alexander Buchan, 49, pleaded guilty to punching David Adams on the head and breaking the car’s back window with a windscreen wiper on April 23 on Aberdeen’s Hilton Drive.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard Buchan objected to being charged £1 for calling the cab over the phone – and maintained he flagged it down.
Buchan, whose address was listed in court papers as 235 Hilton Drive, Aberdeen, was fined £200 for each of the two charges.
