About to get my taxi badge in Dundee, i done the training course with 203020 which means im tied to them for a year. No really sure how things are going to work, they are saying they will try and sort me out with a car,If they dont have a car available for me to use does that mean i cant drive for anybody else? |

Why do you say that you are tied to them? I don't think that, even if they have paid for your badge etc, that they can legally enforce any such condition. |

It says that if i dont engage with the company or go to work for another firm, i would be liable to pay £1200 for the cost of the training, can this be enforced, if they dont have a cab for me, surley ill be able to drive elsewhere. |

With your license you can drive any cab that your insured for. But reading the doom and gloom up there, methinks you might not be earning bundles. But I wish you well any way. |

If they can't supply you with a cab, that, IMO, that would be a 'restraint of trade'. |

Let's get 1 thing straight...203020 get grants from DWP to bring unemployment figures down. now ..203020 paid zero for your training..(and I bet you were ushered through that and, I could ask you some easy Q's which, you wouldn't know) so ...grow a pair and stand on the feet..!! instead o kneeling ! The Contract ain't worth $hit kid...going show me a Tribunal that would disagree.... |
