Taxi driver in court charged with causing death of Dover boy
Police investigating a fatal road crash which claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy have charged a Dover taxi driver with causing death by careless driving.
The collision involved a Skoda Octavia taxi in the early hours of Friday, March 15, on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 at Shepherdswell and a 13-year-old boy died at the scene.
Nawzad Salih Hussein, 48, of Cassino Square, Burgoyne Heights, Dover was charged today and released on bail to answer before Folkestone Magistrates on Monday, October 28.
