Police hunt after armed man robs Aberdeen taxi driver POLICE were today hunting a man after a taxi driver was threatened with a weapon and robbed. The thief approached the driver while he was stopped in a residential street in the north of Aberdeen during the early morning. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 52-year-old taxi driver was approached by a male who threatened him with a weapon before demanding money. The victim surrendered a two-figure sum of money to the assailant who then fled.” The spokesman added the driver was uninjured but was left “extremely shaken”.
