 Post subject: Earthquakes!

I am glad that I am in Spain at the moment. There have been 2 earthquakes in 2 days only 6 miles from my house in Melton.

Yes, the one yesterday was mag. 3.2 and the one today was mag 3.5 both were in the same area between Oakham and Melton although they were at different depths. Yesterdays was at 4km deep and todays was at 2km deep. Still it could be worse, in the New Ollerton area of Notts they have had 91 earthquakes since December last year all at a depth of 1 km. Apparently due to the mineworkings in the area.

Yep lets call it an "Earthquake" as it passes the buck/cost from big business. I think the true definition should be "Subsidence"!
