Daughter and pals kill father and cut out his pacemaker to make sure he’s dead

A young woman and two of her friends have been arrested for battering her father to death with a cricket stump.

The trio then allegedly sliced open the 56-year-old’s chest with a shard of glass and removed a pacemaker attached to his heart – just to make sure he was dead.

The brutal murder was committed last week in west Delhi, India.

Upon her arrest, Kulvinder Kaur told police that she killed her taxi driver father Daljeet Singh because he had been sexually harassing her ever since her mother passed away three years ago.

Her fellow suspects are Prince Sandhu (22) and Ashok Sharma (23).

“On the evening of April 30, Kaur left the main door of her house open so that Sandhu and Sharma could enter without being noticed,” said a police officer.

“While her father slept, the men battered him to death with a wooden cricket stump and broke a window to make a pointed shard of glass to physically extract a pacemaker attached to his chest after ripping it open before shoving it inside a bed sheet, driving to a forested area in Uttam Nagar some kilometres away and dumping it there,” the officer added.

Police found Singh’s body the following day on the Ganda Nala Road and then circulated pictures of it to try and identify him.

One of Singh’s relatives identified him through a picture and then police went to his residence to make speak to his daughter.

“When asked about his whereabouts, Kaur claimed that her father, who was employed as a driver with a travel agency, had driven some tourists to Haridwar on the morning of April 30.

“However, we suspected her role when the travel agency that he worked for denied that he had been sent on the tour that his daughter was talking about,” the officer said.

Under sustained interrogation Kulvinder broke down and admitted that she was behind the whole plot.
