Taxi drivers are stripping fare dodgers and covering them with blue paint


Some cabbies in Russia have taken the issue of fare dodgers into their own hands and are forcing them to cover themselves in blue paint.

The taxi drivers force the dodgers to strip, cover themselves in blue paint, and stick a sign on their backs before releasing them onto the streets.

These drivers from the western Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod are being hailed by cabbies across Russia as heroes, but many in the city have described them as hooligans and vigilantes.

This rather drastic move was inspired by an epidemic of fee dodgers trying to get free rides across the city.

A few painted victims have protested against this form of punishment after being forced to run home naked covered only in smeared pigment.

It seems two wrongs do not make a right even if stripped and doused in blue paint.

Maybe the above is the secret 4th Dereg Bill proposal. :D
