Considering booking some flights in the summer for the family holiday and Prestwick airport is the cheapest by far , airport parking for the two weeks come in at £80 off site at £50 , so the tight arse in me was wondering is there any reasonably priced close parking or even better free ?

Just find a nearby 24 hour supermarket. As it's Scotland, you won't get clamped or towed and you can cheerfully wipe your arse with any parking tickets

Travel past the airport for about 1/2 mile and park on the streets on your left just at the first pub (can't remember it's name). That's where l park every time.

Hope you realise its nowhere near Glasgow !
