Sorry if this has been asked before, but I struggle to find an answer on the internet Is it a requirement to have an in date first aid certificate in order to get your taxi licence? My mate started driving the black cabs in Edinburgh and I'm sure he said that first aid was one of six modules he had to complete. |

Perhaps it was one of the modules needed to complete an NVQ if ones required to get a badge ? If so once it's done, it's done, that's it for life. |

It was one of the modules we had to complete as part of our "brief" in Edinburgh back in 2007 along with wheelchair access and road safety. A nurse showed us basics like CPR and it was done at Telford College. |
