Taxi driver caught urinating in front of Blaenymaes house



A RESIDENT of Blaenymaes has described how a taxi pulled up on the road outside his home only for the driver to get out and urinate in the street.

Ryan Morgan said he was furious about the incident in broad daylight because his two-year-old niece was playing outside in the garden.

Mr Morgan of Blaenymaes Drive alleges the driver pulled up into a layby opposite his home, and proceeded to relieve himself.

He made a note of the number on the side of the taxi.

The Evening Post phoned the number yesterday but than man who answered declined to comment.

Mr Morgan said: "The driver was looking straight at me when he was doing it.

"He was about 30 foot away, and I asked him what he thought he was doing, but he just got in his vehicle and drove off. It was right in front of my two-year-old niece, and he didn't care.

"I called the number and I wasn't at all happy about his attitude.

"I said I didn't get an apology, and then he asked me what I wanted him to do about it.

"I said the driver could come back up here and clean up the mess he's made.

"I think it's disgusting doing it in the road outside someone's house.

"If I had called the police he would have been done for it."

Mr Morgan's sister Gemma added: "We were really upset about it.

"I was in the house cutting up some strawberries, and I could not believe what he was doing.

"We caught him on camera and he didn't even say sorry.

"The garden is higher than the path, so it was in full view."

Wheres crimewatch when you need it,and to make matters worse someone in the house was "cutting up strawberries"

You can only hold it in for so long, when you gotta go you gotta go - either that or stay in the car and pi$$ yourself. Which is more disgusting, that or doing it in someones front garden ?

or doing it in someone's front garden whilst they are looking at you, and you can see them, and your there long enough so they can take your company name

Let us be fair on this one, we all know what it is like to get caught short! What then comes into it is discretion, in my book if the guy gets caught, then he deserves all he gets - the guy whoever he is, is the type that gives the trade a bad name.

Ask yourselves this - How would any of you feel if this was happening in full view of your wife/children/grand children - as far as I am concerned it is not acceptable whichever way you look at it.

The real problem is the lack of public toilets where a driver can go in and park. if you nip into the odd ones that are there you get a ticket when you come out.At night it is impossible to find anywhere.Tescos is good but not there filling stations.
I thought there was a old law that said a badged cabbies could pee on his back wheel legally ??
