Woman dies after getting hit by two taxisA 20-YEAR-OLD woman has died after getting hit by two taxis in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Ormskirk Road, in Wigan, Greater Manchester at 12.45am today.
The victim, who has not been named, was said to have been hit by two taxis in the space of a few seconds.
Firefighters has to pull her out from underneath a black Skoda Octavia taxi and she was rushed to hospital.
She died a few hours later.
Her 20-year-old boyfriend has been arrested and questioned by police on suspicion of assault after claims the two had a row before the collision.
The couple were seen arguing shortly before the incident with police confirming there was an ‘altercation’.

It is not yet known how the woman ended up in the road.
Police are now asking anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Paul Rollinson said: "Our thoughts and sympathies are with this young woman's family and friends at this tragic time while they come to terms with their loss.
"We are trying to establish the circumstances leading up to the incident and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information about what happened before to call us with any information."
