What I can't understand is why so much is being discussed about money.

If I wanted my 'freedom', for want of a better word, I really couldn't give a f*** if it was going to cost me a few quid each week.

What is the obsession with the pound? If Scotland decide to go independant they should have their own currency. Lets face it, they print their own notes now so why don't they just continue with that and call it the Scottish pound. It just won't be linked to our pound. They would, however need to have their own coins. I mean it can't cost that much to set it up.

It's not about money Itself, It's about currency, most of us Scots like using the pound Sterling, Wee Eck says we still can yet everyone else knows we can't. the mans incapable of being honest with his fellow Scots on the issue of currency.

He Know's full well that If there is a break away from the UK then it would be impossible to use a UK currency, what ever the new currency may be it could never be sterling, whether it be called a Scots pound, Scrote or Jock Dollar...It cannot masquerade on the world stage as £sterling.

It would either need to be a brand new Currency, untried and untested or more likely the EURO, that is if the EU lets us join which also looks unlikely.

As for Freedom, as a Scot I am as free as anyone else in the UK is, why leaving the UK should make me feel even more free annoys me, I'm not a prisoner of the UK nor the English, I'm an equal partner in the Union just like everyone else is.

So, Why feck it all up, 100s of years of good work that has brought about all of our prosperity on a fantasy that being independent will make our lives even better.

Nope, I'll stick with my UK mates and after the Referendum most Scots will have voted to do the same.

If it ain't broke don't fix it or you'll break it in the trying.

Complete and utter shite - especially the bit about the Euro.
Ever hear of ERM 11? Suggest you google it.

Can't use the pound? Why not? Its our pound as much as anyone else's.
Tell that to the Irish who used it for 60 odd years. Or the Isle of Mann, Channel Islands and a few other places who still do.

Perhaps EW&NI will need a new currency? You could call it the Farage

It's not about the money.

Imagine telling a Jock what he can or can't do. Think they might have learned something about us in 300 years #-o

So if it's not broke why are we trying? Where's the positives in what we've got? The NO campaign seem to have problems telling us, perhaps you can help them.

I don't need to..There's more No's than Yes's out there and they know what the have now is way better than wee Eck promises in the future even assuming he could give a straight answer to anything..no problem

Fat lot of good it did Ireland, they got the Euro regardless.

Do not be so easily beguiled by wee Ecks charm...he's fooled many before and he'll fool many more yet.

Yes that worked extremely well didn't it. About 6 years ago the pound was worth €1.50. within weeks is was £1.00 = €1.00 yet with ERM II the fluctuation was not allowed to be more than 15%.

Well I'm not sure I am telling a jock to do anything, in my view it's quite the reverse.

English MPs cannot dictate Scottish education, but Scottish MPs do dictate English education.

Scottish MPs have voted for English kids to pay massive University fees, whereas English MPs have no say up in Scotland.
