Post subject:  taxi damaged by lorry
This lunch time a taxi was plying on our town centre rank. The driver was out of the vehicle helping the passenger. he went around to the drivers door and opened it and got into the drivers seat. before he had time to close the door a lorry went past and hit the door. the lorry did not stop at all but just carried on. As luck would have it one of our licensing enforcement team was very close by and saw what happened. the police were called and they managed to stop the lorry but by now it was nearly 20 MILES AWAY. it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Imprisonable.

Fella down here had his license revoked for doing just that.
