As you allude " I don't know what you did before ", it was nowt as simple as that. Anyway a whole new meaning to the word "Carnage" ( a student event ).....has now left the Country, or for the purists "Principality".....back to normal congestion

In the early hours I got flagged by a guy rather inebriated on the way back into the City - I stop and ask what can I do for you? Please can you take me back to a certain student campus! okay I says but I need money up front - the guy says I am a police officer which ties in why he wants the campus...so I say no problem, and we get chatting. He was one of around 9,000 + police officers covering security for NATO........his duty was standing on a motorway overhead foot way/small road bridge on 12 hour shifts x 10 days looking down on the M4! So I say to him...what were you doing, looking for Iraqi tanks? ( an attempt at small humour), no he says........watching out for protesters ![]() Coupled with accusations that the Met had posed as protesters - it would seem that the threat is becoming more from our own leaders........than any extremists. |
