Fareham taxi driver to wear purple CABBIE Steve Clark will be wearing a purple wig and purple clothes to raise money and awareness for charity. Purple is the colour of the Colostomy Association and it will be holding its first ever awareness day on Saturday. The 59-year-old will be taking the driver’s seat in the charity’s colour to raise money and to say thank you for helping him when he suffered a perforated bowel in 2011 that ended up in a permanent colostomy. Mr Clark, of Greyshott Avenue, Fareham, said: ‘The mental trauma I went through, and my wife, was immense. ‘I was alone in the world. It was the association that got me through.
