Garvagh taxi driver fined £600 for licensing and insurance offences A Garvagh man was fined a total of £600 and given eight penalty points at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court. Mark Fleming of Fountainville pleaded guilty to the offences and was fined £200 for having no public service vehicle licence, £300 and eight penalty points for having no insurance and £100 for having no taxi operators licence. Mr Fleming was also ordered to pay a £15 offender levy. Mr Fleming was stopped by Driver & Vehicle Agency Enforcement Officers on April 5 this year whilst dropping passengers off in Kelly’s nightclub Portrush. When interviewed under caution Mr Fleming stated that he was not taxiing.
