Yeovil could be getting new wheelchair-accessible taxi rank near Premier Inn site


A NEW taxi rank for wheelchair-accessible vehicles could be built near the new Premier Inn site in Yeovil.

No concrete information has been released as yet, but South Somerset District Council has revealed it is looking into whether the move would be possible.

A spokeswoman for South Somerset District Council said: “We are looking at the layout of this area now that the hotel is nearly ready to open. We are in consultation with South Somerset Disability Forum over possible changes but we are at the start of the process. More information will be made available when details are agreed.”
