Man taken to Aberdeen hospital after taxi crashes into tree
A MAN has been taken to hospital after a taxi crashed into a tree on an Aberdeen street.
The crash happened on Westburn Drive around 10am.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed a white Peugeot E7 car crashed into a tree at the side of the road.

He said no other vehicles were involved.
A Scottish Ambulance Services spokesman said paramedics had transported one person to hospital.
He is believed to have sustained minor injuries.
A total of nine firefighters were deployed to the scene of the crash in two appliances from North Anderson Drive station.
A spokesman said: “No persons were trapped within – we just made the vehicle safe and cleaned up a bit of an oil spill.”
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed the road is not blocked.
