Taxi driver threatened with knife, hammer and handgun in terrifying Milton Keynes robbery A man was threatened with a knife, hammer and handgun during a terrifying robbery in Milton Keynes in the early hours of yesterday morning (27/03). At around 1.40am, the victim, a taxi driver aged in his thirties, attended Harrier Drive in Eaglestone to pick up a pre-booked customer. As he was in his taxi, he was approached by a man wearing a balaclava and dark clothing. The man opened the front passenger door of the taxi and threatened the victim with a knife, demanding his money and jewellery. Two more offenders, both men, then approached the driver’s door and to prevent him from getting out of his car. They then threatened him with a hammer and handgun. Cash, the victim’s wedding ring and a GPS handheld device were stolen. The offenders then ran off in the direction of the community shops. The first offender is white, tall, slim and was wearing a black hooded jumper with a black balaclava covering his face. There is no further description of the other two offenders except that they were dressed in black clothing. The victim did not sustain any injuries. Police believe this robbery may be linked to a robbery in Chesney Wold, Milton Keynes yesterday (26/3), in which a taxi driver attended a pre-booked appointment and four offenders attempted to rob him in similar circumstances. Police are also linking these robberies to one in Woughton South, Chesney Wold, Milton Keynes on 28 February at around 1am, which had similar circumstances. Investigating officer, PC Shannon Smith, said: “We believe this latest robbery this morning may be linked to previous robberies in Milton Keynes. Thames Valley Police takes these violent crimes extremely seriously and we are conducting a thorough investigation into all three reported offences. Extra officers are in the area at present while enquiries are conducted and I would urge anyone with any concerns to speak to officers or call 101.” If you have any information please contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101. source: http://citiblogmk.co.uk/2015/03/28/taxi ... s-robbery/ |

So brave of those scumbags. Wouldn't it be a shame if the drugs that they will buy from the stolen money/goods killed them? |
