Perhaps Holyroodphiles should consider the raft of draconian, ban everything fascist regulations coming from this palace of poo.
At least with Westminster there was an inherent inefficiency which kept politicians in check and laws reasonably sensible.
A Scottish Parliament was fine in concept, but the practice is not. Poor quality politicians, with an eye on headlines rather than common sense is only leading us down a perilous route to an overbearing state.
As for Thatcher and the falklands, it was deliberate. A flagging government was rejuvenated by it. It was a lesson learned by Blair who hoped for the same effect when he took us into the illegal Iraq war, which has killed hundreds of thousands of Iraquis, thousands of American troops and hundreds of ours.
Blair is a war criminal with blood on his hands. It is to our eternal shame that we failed boot him when we had the chance.
Doesn't say much about we brits does it?
