City Cabs answer to Donald Trump, Les Mcvay, tells us he's done the figures and City Cabs are only charging 8% commission on each job, far cheaper than GETTAXI or UBER. #-o #-o #-o #-o So what do you say boys? =D> =D> =D> How about no more radio dues for members and drivers just a straight 8% commission off each job? =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Les I take it all back, you are a star!!! #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Perhaps tomorrow you can sit down quietly somewhere and read what I actually said and try and forget about the soapbox.

Come on Les, PAY - AS - YOU -GO with 8% commission on every job means City Cabs can compete with UBER and GETTAXI and beat them at their own game? #-o #-o #-o #-o

I thought you would be jumping at the chance... your own figures after all... #-o #-o #-o #-o

Before you're heralded as some Mother Teresa of the trade lets look at some Skullisms

Skull wrote:
He bought a taxi plate that he cannot own and which holds no intrinsic value just to have a job. Oh and I bet he now has a cab*igger of his own to prop-up his pretendy little business working long hours for sh*t pay, picking up shi* people.

Skull wrote:
Driving a taxi for some part-time cash is one thing but taking the job seriously and doing it for a living, is something completely different. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
driving a taxi means working long hours doing a sh*t job picking up sh*t people for shi* pay

Skull wrote:
No one with even half a brain drives a taxi by choice. They do it because they can’t find anything else or out of necessity.

Skull wrote:
Yes, I hate the taxi trade

And when someone actually wants your advice.....

Skull wrote:
You need to get a fuc*ing life! In the greater scheme of things, wtf are we talking about?

Personally, I'm past giving a flying fu*k

And before his fellow groupies TRTD and Saul come on digest this.....

To be a real taxi driver you have to be fuc*ing idiot

Swanee thank you for this.......

swannee wrote:
Simple facts are:-

1. You are now boring - everyone knows you hate the taxi trade and everyone in it.

2. You know little or nothing about business - hence your lack of any acumen and eventual loss of licence(s).

3. Why not find a doggy forum and tell them that there is no need for them to be insured, certificated or even experienced as the job is so simple that even you can do it? because you live in a dog eat dog world of your own!!!

4. It used to be just a bit of fun but like everything with you, you've overcooked it and the wind up is just monotonous now.

5. And finally, since according to you and your lesbian boyfriend, Jasbar, the whole taxi trade is gay (since we apparently ALL enjoy being rogered up the choccy box - a quaint expression you enjoy using) I suggest you leave us in peace with our Cadbury's and find another BONE to chew where you can LEAD others UP YOURS!

Now you keep repeating yourself year after year but no one is listening. As a great man once said Skull..... Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

And here's me being positive about Les Mcvay's great idea of a Pay - As - You - Go City Cabs, 8% commission on each job while competing with Uber and GETTAXI and beating them at their own game. #-o #-o #-o #-o I though any City Cabs driver and shareholder would jump at the chance. :? :? :? :? Les, has done the figures and it's definitely a goer ... =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Artur you are being so negative. #-o #-o #-o What's got into you?    I thought this was a fantastic idea. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Don't tell me Les has been telling porkies about his 8% commission comparison, against UBER and GETTAXI and what they charge for Pay-As-You-Go?

I would be very surprised to hear anything of the sort. Shame on you Artur... [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X

Yet another example of just why you are on the outside looking in.
But I have to say it's a nice change to see you sounding so upbeat.

Les I think your idea of a Pay - As - You - Go City Cabs is a show stopper!! =D> =D> =D> I mean, how could UBER and GETTAXI compete with 8% commission on each job? Oh and CRT would have to go down the same route. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Les I was obviously wrong about you, you are a man of some vision... =D> =D> =D> =D>

Oh and what's up with Artur? I thought he would be over the moon with your vision of a Pay - As - You - Go City Cabs, it's definitely the way forward... =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> I don't know why he is being so negative. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Oh and where is Dougie when you need him? I am sure he will be jumping up and down with joy at the mere thought of a Pay - As - You - Go City Cabs. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> Oh and 8% commission on each job must be a dream come true. =D> =D> =D> =D>

Well that is it then, I don't know why GETTAXI and UBER just don't pack-up and go the FUC* home with Les and Dougie on the case? =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Blue Goose and posting on Forums is never a good idea.
Dogs breath for you this morning?

I don't know about being a man of vision but three Glaswegian ladies recently insisted that I was a legend because I found them a Chip Shop that was open in the early hours.
Although when I dropped them off at their Hotel with their battered pizza's and chips, as she left the little did say "you do know that we will all be hating you after we have ate this stuff".

I may invest in a "Skull will put you right" T shirt.

Couldn't agree more! It's fantastic to hear you so upbeat Skull.

Glad our positivity is rubbing off on you.

I knew we'd turn you around in the end.

Something tells me that it may well be a little blip on the radar.
Gone before you realised it was there.
I can only imagine what the fallout may entail when the Skull sobers up and manages to throw off the hangover.

Friends no more no doubt.
