Bath taxi driver guilty of dangerous driving


A taxi driver has been found guilty of dangerous driving.

Paul Hunter, 57 of Bradford Park, Bath, had denied the charge at Bristol Crown Court on August 24.

Hunter was arrested after a man reported to police that he had driven off along James Street West with him being carried on the bonnet of the taxi.

The man, aged 29, fell off and suffered bruises to his hip.

The incident happened at 3am on Sunday, December 14 2014.

Hunter was given an interim driving disqualification pending sentencing on September 24.
