Black Cab drivers say they are struggling to make a living. So far more 25,000 people have supported their campaign to try and get Transport for London (TfL) to bolster regulations. Regarding the Minister’s remark about the Law Commission and the statutory definition of plying for hire, given rapid technological advancements such as the Uber app and the complications that they are causing, does he recognise that the Law Commission advice is perhaps out of date? Is it not worth the Government considering the matter again?
