Foxes are generally very good at getting out of the way I did have one once about 20 years ago just froze in front of me. I thought any minute now he's going to shoot into the hedge and carried on

To be fair i think he/she was quite an elderly fox

I heard today that the taxi being driven was a courtesy vehicle, make of that what you will but the provider of the courtesy vehicle provides vehicles for insurance purposes
