Just a little feel good story for all the taxi drivers who must get a little disheartened at the relentless negative press our trade receives. City Cabs Edinburgh Ltd 6 hrs ยท This was sent in today. Let us know if you know who it is! 5 October 10:04 Hi, last night I was in desperate need of some help while out on a walk at approximately 12:40 as I came across a young girl attempting to commit suicide, I rang emergency services right away but I've only moved here recently as a student and was not sure on my location. I flagged down a cab which I'm pretty sure was one of these cabs, I asked the driver the street name and I could not answer all the questions the emergency services wanted as I was clearly no good with directions after only moving here, I handed the cab driver my phone and he gave all the information to emergency services and they soon arrived on the scene. I want to say a huge thank you to that man, without him that girl would not be in the safe environment she needs! I would not have been able to both call 112 or stay with the girl at the same time. I hope you can recognise the driver if he possibly has spoke about it to anyone but a huge thank you to the lovely man. |
