AN EIGHTEEN-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after the windows of a taxi parked in Corsham were smashed.

Police are appealing for information about the incident after the windows of a Volvo V50 taxi parked in Poynder Road were smashed at about 1.50am on March 17.

The eighteen-year-old has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information should call 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Or they are merely asking for more evidence to ensure an early guilty plea, or more evidence to charge with a more serious offence.
