Wanted: Taxi driver who assaulted passenger

Police have released CCTV images of a taxi driver they want to speak to in connection with an assault.

The alleged assault happened at 6am on a Saturday morning when the victim was being driven by the taxi.

According to police the driver slammed on the brakes, sending her to the floor, and then stopped and opened the back door and climbed in with her.

He touched her inappropriately before driving her to Bristol Royal Infirmary instead of her intended destination, Temple Meads railway station.

The incident happened on November 14 in Bristol City Centre.

Anyone who recognises the man should call 101 and quote crime reference number 5215040732
