Woman suffers broken ribs after dispute with taxi driver A woman suffered broken ribs and cuts to her leg following a dispute with a taxi driver. Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault in Kingswood, Corby, sometime between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Saturday night (December 19). The woman was assaulted in a parking area in Eastbrook following a dispute with a taxi driver. She suffered broken ribs and cuts to her leg, which required hospital treatment. Witnesses, or anyone with information about the attack, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or use the anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. usually it's the other way round in Corby quite a few cabbies there been battered and I think 2 murdered in the last 25 years |
