that is a highly offensive statement for the cps barrister to make

This sounds to me like your local police are as anti taxi as ours you've been through a lot and It appears this was something that never should have gone this far. I think a claim for compensation and possibly defamation is in order she sounds like a right nasty piece of work and deserves to get some sort of comeupance

My thoughts are to wish you well.

However to stop similar things happening to other drivers I would advise they get a good CCTV that also records audio.

I would suggest drivers never get out of the car, unless to help folks, never when the situation is iffy.

I would also advise never having a row with someone who is pi**ed, although she wasn't pi**ed enough to take your picture.

I would also advise listening to duty solicitors, they are dealing with these issues 24/7, whilst many of us never find ourselves in that position in a life time.

But more importantly I would like to know what you would have done differently.

His fitness and propriety are open to question on the civil basis of proof IMO.

I have the crashcatcher camera...... films outside the car but also has a lens facing the interior of the car with infa red so even in the dark you get good footage with sound...best £120 i have spent....gives you peace of mind.

Well Dan youve learnt a few lessons there alright, firstly having a Union solicitor helps somewhat ! mind you were lucky for when i was a TU rep any member who made a statement against the advice of a solicitor as you did was IMMEDIATELY dumped, that is the height of stupidity

And as for picking up Drunks, that is something only MORONS DO!

Message this Driver ended up before a jury and was represented for FREE why because he was in a Union !
