Well done, I admire men/women of principle - respect =D>

Rightly or wrongly I still feel that it would not have compromised your position to have challenged it as a Councillor. Good luck anyway.

The association are still looking at the figures. The initial problem is the way that the 73% is calculated. 2 years ago it was 51% and we have had 2 increases of 25% each to get to 73%. However the data that was collected, as stated is flawed. they can't explain why it takes more than twice as long to process an application than it takes in Bournemouth (the only Council that I have time records from) There are several obvious errors that have been highlighted and when the association has completed it's work everything will be handed to the district auditor.

I think you need to try and go via the current replacement for the District Auditor (which are no more).

His/her details are found here.

Thank you Sussex, I knew it was Earnst & Young but that saves me trying to find the contact details.

I have a grandson who is 21 this year, so I don't look bad for my considerable years. I am told that when I was born, the midwife took one look and went outside and slapped my dad.
