Man 'possessed by ghost' torpedoes headfirst into taxi windscreenA man who galloped into oncoming traffic and launched himself head first into a taxi windscreen said he was possessed by a ghost at the time.
A dashcam was filming when the alarming incident took place at Tai Hang Road in Hong Kong on Friday.
Video shows the taxi pull around a corner when a 39-year-old cleaner known only as Mr Lee suddenly charges into view.
The driver tries to stop but cannot avoid Mr Lee as he torpedoes into the windscreen with his forehead at a startling speed.
The stunned and bloodied pedestrian remarkably crawls to the side of the road and dusts himself off, dazed but seemingly uninjured.
Mr Lee said he felt he was suddenly "possessed by a ghost" in an interview with Oriental Daily after the crash.
He said he could not explain his actions and denied the head butt was a ploy to sue the driver for damages.
"Why would I do that for money? I can't claim anything. I did it myself."
