Taxi driver to face trial on 'sexual touching' charge



A CARDIGAN taxi driver is to stand trial accused of sexually touching a female customer.

Joshua Townsend, aged 24, of O’r Diwedd, Station Road, today attended a plea and trial preparation hearing before Judge Paul Thomas at Swansea crown court.

He denied one charge of sexual touching without consent on April 12 last year.

A two-day trial will begin on a date to be fixed.

Townsend was granted bail meanwhile.
