For one, like me, considering the move to Green Badge it looks like a good idea.

But the six week KOL does have it's plus points. Maybe some of the bike people could join up with Mr GBC.

Then why did they respond to the PCO's consultation, yet the LTDA and a few others just sat back and got ignored. :shock:

You should bear in mind they may also make it easier for more people to become LPH drivers, which of course will then knock a hole in your takings as well, I wonder if you would become an LTDA suporter then? :roll:

nothing wrong with having both on the same firm.
worked with taxis when i was a ph.
now work with ph now im a taxi.

Nothing could be further from the truth, I spoke with Steve Mac yesterday, the rumblings from the City Hall boffins is that they don't think to much of Mr UKIP's report, as the whole idea of it was to review the PCO and its day to day running, not to concentrate on the Knowledge system itself, which has served london well since Oliver Cromwell introduced a licensing system. By all means get yourself on the Knowledge though, you won't regret it in the end.

Ollie Maybe they saw the survey for what it was, a waste of time and money employing a man who can't make up his mind what political party he wants to belong to this month. I think when you say 'they' with regard to the LPHCA's input, I think you mean 'him', and having read the report on 'his' website, please enlighten me as to what exactly is the point he is trying to get across? Perhaps I need a thesaurus and ready reckoner to work it out? Don't you find it in the least suspicious that all the partys consulted benefit financialy from more drivers? Most of ours probably do too? Personaly I feel I don't need a circuit, with nights being a lot busier than days.
