It doesn't matter who you drive for you will still have operating costs. It's down to how much per hour you can earn and how much it costs to earn it be a % or a weekly fee.

That's true toots, but the point she's made is uber give you a very low mileage rate .90 cents for uber x in LA, guy have to be daft to operate at that rate no matter what they say about not having to wait for jobs or any other propaganda they may try to feed people.

Not daft just looking at it short term without thinking of long term operating costs plenty of non uber drivers do that
