Transport for London investigating footage of two men grappling in the middle of the road as shocked motorists watch in horror
This is the moment a brutal road rage brawl between two motorists - reportedly both Uber drivers - brought traffic to a standstill.
A black cab driver caught the incident, believed to have taken place in London, on his dashcam.
The first driver stopped his black Toyota Prius in the middle of the road and appears to have got out to remonstrate with his rival in a silver Prius.
As stranded motorists beep their horns, a man in a blue shirt then emerges from the silver Prius and the pair begin exchanging blows.
During the violence that follows, they fall onto a green 4x4 parked up before a bystander then runs over to intervene.
Mohamed Dhere who tweeted the footage said: "Uber V Uber, the fight of the century. Every journey matters."
In a tweet, Transport for London's Private Hire said the incident has been "reported" to the licensing authorities.
A spokesman added: "We're looking into this and it's being taken seriously.
"There will be a full and through investigation."
Uber said it is looking into claims the drivers work for the firm.
