http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-36471493 Two possible solutions: 1. Drop them on the mini-roundabout in a potentially dangerous position, and, 2. Drop them in the station car park opposite and make them walk 100 yards. |

it's £1 and they are almost the last in the UK to bring it in. The problem is that many of the bigger airlines like Ryanair have so much clout now that Airports are struggling to make money it's a bit like the supermarkets and their suppliers so the airports can't make money on their core activities but car park charges are easy money as we motorists and taxis have little or no clout |

my last p/h firm i once i had a wife /hubby & kid in my taxi going to Newcastle airport ( i have to pop the meter on so the office know i had picked up & they instantly sh%t there pants ) err.. why is the meter on mate ? ( no tip on this one then !! )i have to so the office know i picked up getting near the airport now so its a set far aint it mate yep set fare mate , its £17.50 ( + £1 for the barrier) so that will be £18.50 ok mate , just drop us at the garage & we will walk across dropped them at the garage & tbh his wife was a bit embarrassed, she said thanks , i said well enjoy ya holiday but if hes trying to save a quid i don't think you will, she said aye, hes a greedy basdid like

East Midlands was a train wreck on Monday morning at 5:30am. |

Earlier this year an Mp called for all airports to charge a minimum £3 change.I think this has been taken as government approval for upping the charges
