the Orange car park at Stansted has now been re-badged as premium parking and the charges upped by 50%

It is now £4.50 for 30 minutes ; £9.00 for 60 minutes and £15 if you go over 60 minutes

It's no wonder it was only half full ! Unfortunately i didn't notice if the Red or green car parks had gone up as well but they are a much longer walk from the terminal

Luckily it was relatively quiet this evening so got out in under 30 mins

I don't get up there that much, but I remember a few years back parking outside the terminal, for a short time, for nothing.

How times change.
