Barrow woman sunk teeth into neighbour's neck during taxi row A WOMAN with "a history of violence" sank her teeth into neighbour's neck and face during a taxi row.
Genine Coulson narrowly escaped jail and was slapped with a 18 week prison term suspended for 12 months.
She was also told to pay her victim Rocky Thomson £500 in compensation.
The mum-of-two appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court today.
They heard how she was drunk outside her High White Close home, Barrow, and they clashed over whose taxi it was at 11.55pm on July 25.
After arguing she jumped on his back and sank her teeth into his neck and face before he managed to thrown her off, prosecutor Lee Dacre explained.
He added: "He had to be taken to hospital to be vaccinated and to have blood tests. He didn't need stitches. It was an unprovoked attack and the defendant was highly intoxicated."
Defence solicitor Mr Trystan Roberts said his client regretted her actions and had just "exploded."
