Minicab operator launches in Greater Manchester Addison Lee will base its north west operation in Cheadle. This will include sales, account management, fleet, driver recruitment and driver training locally. Minicab Addison Lee is launching its first car service outside of London, right here in Manchester. Earlier this year the firm announced it was going to launch an expansion campaign and was ready to compete with likes Uber. Addison Lee will base its north west operation in Cheadle. This will include sales, account management, fleet, driver recruitment and driver training locally. It is also planning to roll out its app to 25 cities by the end of the year. This combined with the new Greater Manchester service is the largest expansion of its operations in the company’s 40-year history. David Cederholm, Addison Lee’s north west general manager, says: “It’s a great opportunity to increase choice for both business and consumer passengers, who will be able to book quality and reliable cars wherever they want to go in the area, quickly and easily. "Our liveried vehicles have become an iconic sight on London’s streets, we hope they will become a familiar sight in Greater Manchester.” source: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... r-11676546 |
