Bristol taxi driver threatened with hammer by passenger A hammer-wielding passenger threatened a taxi driver while being ferried across Bristol. Detectives would now like to trace this man in connection with the robbery which occurred on Capgrave Close, Brislington on July 24. A man, who was being driven between Hartcliffe and Brislington, along with another man and woman, threatened the taxi driver with a hammer. The driver escaped without any injuries. An Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman said: "If you have any information, please call us on 101 and speak to PC 2400 Hudd. "Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
