Taxi driver Abul Abbasi 'reversed over mum in attempted murder' in Bransholme A taxi driver has appeared in court today charged with the attempted murder of his mother. Abdul Abbasi, 32, who is said to have been driving his taxi at the time of the alleged attack, appeared via video link at Hull Crown Court. Phillip Evans, prosecuting, said: "The victim is the defendant's mother. It is the Crown's case that he reversed over her. "The victim has been very badly injured." Mr Evans said police are still investigating the incident, which happened on Sunday. Mr Abbasi, who spoke only to confirm his name, was not asked to enter a plea during the short hearing. it is also nice to see the link as that is sometimes the only clue as to where the story is from i.e. which town/city or district |

Likewise with the court case database. |

I prefer the way you (and I) do it CC. If you click on a link to a newspaper you get deluged with so much advertising it takes forever, and then you can't get back easily. Cut and Paste makes it easy. Anyone who finds it an effort to read can use the link to look at the picture version if it's available.
