GMB & Trade Protest December 8th

On December 8th at 11.00 AM we are protesting in relation to English language testing as well as TFL’s unwillingness to listen to stake holders on a variety of matters including: Congestion, emissions, Vehicles, Using DVLA guidelines for driver fitness rather than adopting a internal set of guidelines based on a practical best practice. Driver number capping – and lobbying central government and many other concerns.

Drivers and Operators will be assembling at 11.00 AM at City Hall The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA on December 8th.

The main reason that drivers must be able to speak English is for the safety of the customer. If the driver is involved in an accident he needs to be able to communicate with the police, fire and ambulance services. Not being able to do so can cost lives; that is apart from the obvious of finding the correct destination.

AAH a scabs convention not influenced by any post holding proprietors is it Good on Sadiq up the standards remove the flotsam about 70000 of them Earn a living ie those remaining ...might renew me License if Sadiq does the business could probably earn a living in about 24 hrs i reckon If your a literate Driver working in the industry DO NOT LINE WITH UP THIS SHOWER OF EXPLOITERS IN MY OPINION SUPPORT DECENT STANDARDS WITHIN THE PH INDUSTRY SUPPORT THE TEST WELL DONE SADIQ

It is a damn good one and obvious if you think about it.
