Taxi driver arrested on suspicion of drink driving after smashing into lamp post on M60 bridge A driver blew 135 during a breathalyser test - three times over the national limit A taxi driver has been arrested on suspicion of being three times over the drink driving limit just before 10am after smashing into a lamp post. A driver floored the lamp post on a motorway slip road bridge on the M60 , near Prestwich, just before 9.50am on Tuesday. It was flung over the bridge barrier and fell onto lane one of the motorway, narrowly missing cars passing underneath. The driver was breathalysed at the scene and blew 105mg - nearly three times over the national limit of 35. The lamp post on the M60 slip road after the incident - picture from GMP's Twitter feed Identification checks showed the car was a licensed taxi vehicle.
